Meeting The Folks

Well, I am very excited. I have upgraded to BloggerPro. Unfortunately, I am still firewalled here at work, so I can't see if there are any differences on your end. I assume there are not.
Michele's parents weren't that bad. I was expecting to be completely ignored and I wasn't. When we walked in the front door, they hugged Michele and then introduced themselves to me. Her mom introduced herself as 'Mom', which we both thought was weird. Especially since Michele's sister-in-law calls her by her first name. We immediately went to the dinner table for Thanksgiving dinner. I was a little uncomfortable, but thankfully they sat me between Michele and her kid brother, Chris. I say kid, but he is 25, I believe. Chris has some pretty good energy and seems like a good kid. Or maybe that's just because he reminds me of my little brother because he calls her 'Sis' all the time. Actually, they all call her 'Sis'. Woodward, OK was not quite as bad as I had invisioned it. Thank goodness. I was expecting a smaller town, so it was a nice surprise that it was actually a decent sized place. I really won't get into any more detail with you on that because I know you really don't care. I'll just say there was a LOT of football watching going on, and a LOT of eating as well. Michele and I escaped two of the days by going shopping.
