The Egg Story

I am going to apologize ahead of time for building up this story. It's not even really interesting.

Sunday Michele decided to make deviled eggs. Most of the time when we're at home, Michele has to have noise of some kind. She needs noise constantly, which really bugs me because I will go all evening without turning on the TV OR the radio --just enjoying the silence. Anyway, Michele put the eggs in the water to boil. She heard a tiny chirping noise coming from the pan. She called me over, and I swear it sounded just like a little baby chicken chirping. We assumed it was air whistling as it left the egg and went into the water and that we had never heard it before because the TV is ALWAYS on at my house. We spent 10 minutes pulling the eggs out of the water one by one and then replacing them the same way. In the end, we did decide we were nut jobs and boiled the eggs. The eggs were fine.

See? I told you it wasn't a good story! But it was freaky when it happened.
