Peanuts

The thing about the peanuts is true. I eat them whole. Shell and all. Only if they are roasted and salted, though. At least when I eat peanuts, I don't make a mess like the rest of you. Oh my gosh. Now I'm craving peanuts. You've got to be kidding.

This is a wet jet. Perhaps now Michele or I will be motivated to mop. That is the one task that we both abhor.

Today is the third day I've had this neck and shoulder pain. It's making me crazy. Last night I slept with a heating pad, and I felt fine when I got up. Halfway through my drive in to work I was already hurting. I'm contemplating taking some of that sick time to go home and lay down with the heating pad.

I went to Half Price Books yesterday to get some of the stuff on my Amazon wish list. I got Sylvia Plath's journals, The Bell Jar, Girl, Interrupted, A Walk to Remember, Go Ask Alice, and The Pre-Raphaelites. I already own The Bell Jar. I can't find it, though, and it was really bothering me, so I just bought another one. It was only about $2, anyway.

I finished that audio book If Only It Were True. The review on Amazon makes it sound dreadful, but I really liked it. A story does have to be reality-based to be good. It even made me cry! Now I'm listening to The Klone and I. So far, I am very unimpressed. But I'm almost halfway through, now. I'm sure I'll end up liking it. It sure beats concentrating on traffic!
