I've been drinking....

You've been warned.

I found this page a bit ago. I want to compare and contrast. I know it is early and I don't care. I need it. So there.

Year In Review
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before? Made peace with who and what I am and accepted myself.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Nope and maybe.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? OMG, yes. McJenny and Michelle both had beautiful boys in July and they are the most wonderful mommies.

4. Did anyone close to you die? Thank God. No.

5. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003? Peace. Quiet in my mind.

6. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? You know, I don't think I have any dates. I still have 2 months, though!

7. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Psh. I would guess this is my lowest "I wanna die" year on the books. Is this an achievement?

8. What was your biggest failure? I prefer to look at things as an "Opportunity for improvement"

9. Did you suffer illness or injury? No. Goodness, this has been a good year. Told you I needed this.

10. What was the best thing you bought? Furniture. Furniture that the cats have pretty much fucked up. I still love them. But not the furniture. ;)

11. Whose behavior merited celebration? Good God. I cannot beat my previous answer. That was good indeed. I have reason to believe I cried while typing. Wow. You know what I'm going to say? Tonya. Tonya and I have had our problems, but she has totally stepped up this year. Thank God I stalked her.

12. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Michele and at times, me.

13. Where did most of your money go? Moving too friggin' much. See #12.

14. What did you get really, really, really excited about? I am so excited right now. SO excited. You just don't know. The world is open to me. Now is my chance. We'll revisit in 2006.

15. What song will always remind you of 2003? Wow. I got nuthin'.

16. Compared to this time last year, are you:i. happier or sadder? Not sure
ii. thinner or fatter? The same, I suppose
iii. richer or poorer? I’m doing better on a daily basis, but I’m more in debt.

17. What do you wish you'd done more of? Hugging, crying, laughing

18. What do you wish you'd done less of? Being a dumbass

19. How did you spend Christmas? My family, thank goodness.

20. How many one-night stands? Not my style. I'm a serial monogomist. 5 years or more. ;)

21. What was your favorite TV program? Six Feet Under, hands down.

22. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I am very close to hate, but I can't. Hate just makes you sick inside.

23. What was the best book you read? Sloppy Firsts.

24. What was your greatest musical discovery? Joss Stone?

25. What did you want and get? Um. Um. New car! That's it! :) Love the CRV!

26. What did you want and not get? Baby. Don't get me started. It will be mine, oh, yes, it will be mine!

27. What was your favorite film of this year? What? Are you kidding me? Movies blew this year. I did like House of Sand and Fog, but I don't think that was 2005.

28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 31st Bday was pretty groovy. My parental units came up to Plano and we had dinner. Michele was sober. It was a good day.

29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I'm working on it.

30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003? PJs for every day. Woo!

31. What kept you sane? Having no choice.

32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Geez, Louise. No answer. :(

33. What political issue stirred you the most? Stupid oil.

34. Who did you miss? Me

35. Who was the best new person you met? Hm. Today my answer is Jessica. Jessica is cool beaners and I can't wait to introduce her to friends. She is a kindred.

36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003. Simon and Garfunkel: Slow down, you're moving to fast. You gotta make the moment last..." I gotta feel more Groovy. Step it back. Quit trying to be what I'm not. Embrace the white trashedness that I am and love it.

37. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

Joss Stone Lyrics
You Had Me Lyrics
You had me
You lost me
You're wasted
You cost me
I don't want you here messing with my mind
Spitting in my eyes and I still see
Tried to keep me down
I'm breaking free
I don't want no part in your next fix
Someone needs to tell you this is it
Hey listen you'll be missin'
Out on all my love and my kissing
Make your mistakes on your own time
When you come down you're just no good to have around
...You swore you had control of it
But when I stepped back you slipped on your supply
[Chorus]Taking it back
I'm taking it back
Taking back my life
Taking it back I'm taking it back...
