A.I.
Sometimes when I watch American Idol I remember this is what I was watching when Granny died. She'd quit breathing, and we'd all go stand around, and finally I said something to Mom, Laura, and Lu about the fact that we should just go watch TV. Somehow I knew what she wanted. When Granny died, the 4 of us were watching TV, cutting up, and just having a great time together. One thing I heard in her last days over and over is how Granny used to love sitting in her chair and crocheting and just listening to the rest of us interact. "And that's all I have to say about that."
