The Bachelorette Party

You will not believe the insane amount of fun I had Saturday night. I'm not terribly certain I can sum it up any better than this picture can. The picture was taken at 9pm. I was eating animal crackers because I was already so wasted I could not drink anything else. I also had a glass of water. Am I dead sexy or what? Here's who came (in NO order):
Jennifer
Melody & Kim
Michelle & Eric
Rachel & Raevyn
LeeAnn & Nicole
Renee
Robert
Tonya & Alma

I started out with a Zima. Then I had a long island. Then I had a rum punch. That's when I started to feel not so swell. So, I had the animal cookies and water. Then it was time for "Cruising the Crossroads" which is where you get well drinks for $1.50 each. Yay! So, I bought 4. And Chelle bought me 2 as well. Robert drank 2 of the Cape Cods, and I drank the other 4. Then, if memory serves, Melody bought me a Cape Cod (only it was the regular size, not the Cruisin' size!) and Chelle gave me another Cruisin' size Cape Cod. Melody also bought me another package of animal cookies. Damn. Now that I think about it, I must have been WAY drunk for her to buy me more animal cookies. I gave her all the pachyderms, though. Holy Mother of God, was I drunk. I have no idea what kind of smack I talked, but I bet I talked a great deal of it. I was having a good hair day, too. You know how that is. Hair can make or break your day. I was completely shocked to see LeeAnn & Nicole and Renee. I didn't think they'd show up. I haven't seen LeeAnn in over a year now. Lee is one of those people that I can not see for two years, and when I see her again, it's like she was always there. Somehow or another, I ended up on the dance floor (!) dancing. Well, if you can call what I do dancing. It was bad. Renee, who works at Sue's, had one of the dancers come down and dance with me for a minute. I suppose that was interesting. Perhaps I'll put up a picture of that later in the week. I'm scanning a bunch of these photos and will attempt to put one up every day for your viewing pleasure. I went with black and white photos, and I'm glad I did. Posting pictures is my feeble attempt to get you to tune in on a daily basis. I suppose that means I'll have to blog every day, doesn't it?

Michele dropped me off at the bar around 7:45. We had no idea how I was going to get home, but Michelle and Eric drove at LEAST an hour out of their way to take me home and save me from an expensive cab ride. Perhaps I should mail them something, hunh? I got home around 3:30 and Michele was waiting up for me. She was so cute. The front door was open and when I got back to the bedroom, she had folded the bed down. Cute little punkin. We didn't get up until 1pm on Sunday.

What's funny is what me going out did for the relationship. Yesterday I was so whipped it was pathetic. And affectionate. Goodness. I think Michele and I decided I need to go out more often. I feel great, and for some reason, I'm really appreciating my woman.

In other news: We picked up our outfits from the alterations place, and my dress was not messed up. I don't quite like the way the neck closes in back, but Michele told me to quit fretting because I look awesome. So I am letting it go. We both got our wedding jewelry and we picked up our rings. I got to go to Sam Moon, too! I spent $30 I didn't have on jewelry I didn't need. But look how cute my necklace is! Oh yeah, you can't see that, hunh? This necklace is WAY cute. I'll have to try to remember to take a picture of my new necklaces for you.

I'm having a shoe crisis. I've been wearing sandals for months. Now that it is almost October, I can't wear my sandals anymore. This leaves me with like 3 pairs of shoes. Last year it bothered me, but not like it's going to this year. For some reason my wardrobe has become much more feminine since this time last year, and those butch shoes I used to wear are not going to fly. I'm so seriously broke. Yet I've spent so much money the last few days it's ridiculous. I'm trying not to think about it too much.

I lost over $40 on Avon this month. Stupid cheap Avon.

Less than two weeks 'til I'm a married woman!
