And Another Thing...
Wanna know what else?
It bugs the tarnation out of me when people believe what they are spoon fed instead of thinking for themselves. Let me just give you a very loose example of a situation that did not occur. (Really. It didn't.) A friend of mine, let's call her Rhonda since I don't know a Rhonda, and I were discussing politics. I brought up Bush's new tax plan. She said it was a wonderful, wonderful thing. "Why?" I asked. "Well, my dad says that...."
WTF? Did I ask what your daddy thought? No, I did not. I asked you what YOU thought, but you don't know what you think. If you're not questioning, you're not thinking. And THAT is a problem.
Just like my deal with religion. I completely believe everyone needs something to believe in. And you believe what you believe and no one should EVER argue with you about it. That's not nice. But why would you believe something just because your parents do? Why? I guess this says something about my character. Maybe that I have no faith. Could be. And perhaps others think that is sad. It is all in the perception.
