Guess who came home to live?

Peanut is seen above licking plastic. Peanut licks plastic like no one's business.

Peanut is back home.

Rachel left me a message Valentine's night that I didn't check until Saturday around 8pm. She said she was going to trade Peanut for a kitten. I struggled with the idea that the new home may be a better place for her since we have 2 cats she could infect, a dog she will hate, and she can't play outside. But, lucky for me, my woman was able to make the correct decision. Muffin said if Peanut couldn't live with Rachel, she had to live with us. No question. So, I called Rachel back and asked her when she was planning the trade. Sunday. SUNDAY? Yeah. Well, Boobies needs to be vaccinated, and there is no way to get him in to the vet before Saturday. I simply cannot miss any more work. But, I went and got The Nut. Boobies lived with her for a long time, and was never infected. I think one week is probably okay. Peanut is being a good kitty. Ally is a little more than ticked off. Boobies is not thrilled, but coping. Peanut slept ON Muffin all night. Or beside her. Every time I woke up my BabyNut was sleeping with Muffin. There was a Nut on my Muffin! hehe Okay, so that's not funny. But it amused me, so let's just go with it. Everything seems like it will be fine. Just please, Peanut, don't pee on the bed! (For further Peanut story, please read May 2002)

I also got a digital camera. YAY! I had to since Peanut came home. I'm certain there will be some goofy animal antics in the near future.

Boo Boo was a bad kitty last night, though. He knocked my ivy off the bookcase. Upside down. On the carpet. What a lovely way to be woken up. Oy. That dang cat is always climbing all over everything. In his defense, we really shouldn't have so much to climb on, but there isn't a damn thing I can do about that until we move. Things will be different then.
