*yawn*
Holy crap, I'm tired today. I cannot seem to wake up. Luckily, I only have 1 hour left of work. Unfortunately, I have to go to the dentist and give him another 300 bucks. I am so tired of giving that dentist money. I swear, I must've put one of his kids through college by now. Okay, maybe not that dentist, but I have spent over $1000 in the last year, and that's a bunch of peanuts to someone in my tax bracket. Damn tax bracket.
Speaking of the tax bracket...it's about time for that yearly raise. My anniversary date is 1/31, so I'm looking at my little increase coming into effect on Friday. Woo-hoo! With the economy being what it is, the raises aren't what they used to be, but I'm glad to get it anyway. So will my 401K. I've gotten into the habit of putting 1% of my raise into my 401K. This really helps because I started out only putting 1% in, with the mindset that 1% was better than 0%. And it was. And now, I just say to myself "2% is better than 3%, 3% is better than 4%, etc... Eventually it will be the 10% or whatever you're really supposed to be putting aside.
Shit. I'm late for the dentist.
