Newest Adventure
You're not going to believe my newest 'adventure'. Okay, maybe you will. But if you do, I think maybe you don't know me all that well. I am seriously considering joining a co-ed indoor soccer team.
How funny is that? Can you imagine me running around, chasing a little black and white ball....AND doing so of my own free will? And really, the only thing giving me second thoughts is that the games are on either Friday or Saturday nights. I HATE having plans on those nights. This means I will have to leave the house. Ughies. The cost is not bad, less than $100. And what I really like is that I already know someone on the team. She says they are not really all that competitive, and are there for fun. That is what I need. Because I never win at anything, especially not anything athletic, and I like to be around others who can lose gracefully.
I'm trying to find the local gay skate. I hear they used to have gay skate on Thursday nights out in Irving, but I can't find anything about it. I suppose I will need to ask around. I wonder if anyone skates on regular skates anymore?
I finally got my temporary gym card the other day, and today after work I'm going to the gym. I have no idea what I will do there. I haven't been to a gym to work out in at least 8 years. This is bound to be pitiful. But we all have to start somewhere, right?
