Dawn's Digression.

Sorry for the delay in blogging. I was crazy busy at work last week. Busiest I've been in months. There was even threat of overtime. Which, unfortunately, did not happen. I would have loved the money. But that's okay.
I've lost 6 pounds now. YAY! But I got on the scale at the gym, and it said I weigh much more than the scale at home. I say the scale at home is right. Nevermind that the scale at the gym is a doctor's scale and mine at home is a digital $20 scale. It is of no matter. The $20 scale is correct. Because I say so.
I've been doing pretty good with the gym and diet. It doesn't even really feel like a diet anymore. Just feels like regular eating. I've been to the gym 3 times, and done yoga/pilates probably 5. I'm not sure I feel any real difference, yet, but I'm going to give it some time.
We went to Gay Bingo again Saturday night. It wasn't so bad. I didn't win money this time, but I did win tickets to the "Sing Along" Sound of Music showing in a movie theater. I gave them away to someone I think will appreciate them much more than I will.
I want to see The Hours. I wanted to see it before, but now that I found out it has a thing about Virgina Woolf in it, I want to see it even more. I just love stories about crazy/sad/depressed chicks. Plus, it has Meryl Streep in it. And she plays a lesbian. Or at least someone who is dating a woman. Whether or not that makes her a lesbian, I'll let you decide.
