Dawn's Digression.

My coworker made me cry yesterday.

I had all kinds of problems getting a grade for my class this semester. I was crying a little in my cube the day before...and it all got straightened out... So, I yelled over the top of my cube:

D: I got an A in my class.
J: You did? Not an Incomplete?
D: Nope. A.
J: YAY! CONGRATULATIONS!! You need a hug. *runs over to my cube and hugs me*
D: *crying* You are the only one to hug me and make a big deal out of it.
J: It IS a big deal. This is a HUGE accomplishment for you. You have had to work so hard for this. You need a gift.
D: *still crying* I need a card.
J: A gift and a card! *another hug*

Geez, Louise....I just got all teared up thinking about it. The most I expected was a card. But I'll admit, I did expect that. And I'll be honest. I am a bitter little woman that the muffin didn't even bother with that. Thanks for your support, Honey. )Although I must say in her defense, she was AWESOME when I had school. She never asked me to do anything around the house...she did dishes lots, even after she had cooked. So she was SUPER supportive there.)
