I want a subscription to The Onion. For some reason my job has firewalled us from being able to read the site, and I don't really use my sorry ass computer at home, so I need a paper copy. If I'm remembering correctly the subscription is only $40. But as usual, I am refusing to spend money. Which is a good thing. I'd just really love to read The Onion. It cracks me up.

The facilities department came back here on Monday and took our toaster claiming 'safety issues'. That toaster has been there the entire time I've worked here (3 years). All the sudden they take our toaster. Poor Jennifer has a desk full of cold pop tarts, and I have a loaf of untoasted bread. Might as well throw out that strawberry 'spread' I brought up here. And what is with that? Why is it 'spread' and not jelly or jam? I hardly know the difference between jelly and jam as it is. Why do we need to throw another variety out there? Is it really necessary? I just don't see how it is. Variety is a good thing, but now I'm just confused.
