Give An Inch, Take a Mile
You know, I try to be kind and not. Honestly, I do. Then someone takes advantage of me. Oy. Give someone an inch, and they'll take a mile every time. What is that all about? The more you give, the more someone will take. *sigh*
I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm a giver, even though I'd love to say I am.
Resolution 2006: Be no one's door mat. Don't put up with anyone not treating me the way I want to be treated. Don't spend time trying to make others happy to my own detriment. I think I will have a lot of resolutions this year. I stink at keeping resolutions, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to try.
I may start a new journal in honor of 2006 and a clean start.
