Dawn's Digression.

I just went in the break room to heat up my lunch. Guess who was there?

You guessed it. MelodyTwin. She's sitting at a table alone quietly reading a book. Why doesn't she want to be my friend??

I talked to her yesterday, though. Sure did. Are you proud? I told her she looks just like one of my best friends and that each time I see her, I think she is my friend. She said lots of people do that to her. Apparently lots of people think she looks like someone. So then I had to tell her that Melody says the same thing! She was not bewitched by me, though, which I simply cannot understand. I mean, really. Has she not seen the package? ;) (For anyone who may not know me that well, I'm really not smug. It's all an act. I promise.) A co-worker came in yesterday while we were discussing MelodyTwin and I showed her a picture of Melody and a picture of MelodyTwin. She said, "If MelodyTwin were wearing glasses, they'd look exactly alike!" I said, "MelodyTwin DOES wear glasses. Just not in that picture!" If there were any ethical way I could show you the picture of MelodyTwin, I would. I just can't. HR code and all that. Dammit.

This is Melody and I at Sue's Saturday night. Melody, my pachyderm-eating friend. I love Melody more than powdered donuts.

OH! And speaking of - There have been no donuts in the machine for like a month now. Sick bastards. It's always those nasty honey buns I refuse to eat.
