Dawn's Digression.

I think I have a lot to blog about today. Only I also have a lot of work to do, so I'm thinking I'll maybe do a bunch of little posts. Or something.
I've been reading Superstition. I'm not going to tell you I'm terrified or anything, but I am going to tell you I am somewhat creeped out at night. Probably because I'm an idiot and I pulled out my Ouija board the other day, and now I'm all paranoid. I know. It's a board with a plastic thing. But does that mean I can't be creeped out? I think not. The book just got my imagination working overtime. I'm not even halfway through. The book talks over my head a little. It speaks of various laws of Physics, of which I know nothing about. So I kinda tune out for a couple of paragraphs and zone back in once they quit being all scientific. I'm able to follow a lot of the science, it just bugs me when I'm reminded of how much I don't know.
The house inspection went rather well. The pan in Michele's shower needs to be replaced and the circuit panel in the garage needs to be checked. That particular brand of panel has a habit of not tripping the breakers when it should. Other than that, she checked out just fine.
House countdown: 2 weeks, 3 days.
I am crispy critter. I got totally burned at softball yesterday. I'm such an idiot. I go out there every week and sit in the same spot, usually wearing the same shirt. Sometimes the 2004 World Series shirt, sometimes the 2002 tank top. I've been getting some sun. But not quite ENOUGH sun for my taste. So, I'm thinking, with all this intelligence I have, that I should use that tanning lotion I used in the tanning salon last year. Sure thing! We'll get much tanner this weekend. Um, yeah. I sat in the shade most of the time, and somehow I am a brilliant shade of red. And of course, I was wearing the tank top yesterday. I hurt. I am dying to take this bra off because it keeps digging into my burn. I don't think my co-workers would appreciate that. I wouldn't appreciate that. Maybe I should just go home. ;)
