We were kidding about the hand shake! Really! Okay, mostly. Of course we'll still kiss. Come on, you don't think it would be weird to kiss a girl in front of your mother? Freaks me out just thinking about it. Michele's friend says that when you're in the moment, you don't care. I'm going to count on that.
I called today and got our cake for Vermont. It's going to be SO cute. The bottom layer is 6", the top layer is 4". White cake, ivory icing, one rose on top. $36. You can't beat that with a stick. Or you sure as hell better not.
I'm getting closer, ya'll! I called a bunch of photographers in VT. I am supposed to go to the Harvey on Saturday. I've picked out the cake for the reception.
Have I mentioned that Michele was approved for a home loan and we are now looking for a house? Tonight we're going to a New Home Buyer's School. :) Saturday we're going to look at new houses with a real estate agent. Like in Little Elm and Frisco. Ugh.
We picked out our rings, BTW. Mine is in white gold, as pictured. Hers is in yellow gold. We had planned to use Granny's wedding rings, but it isn't comfort fit, and they can't make it comfort fit. I'm sure it's bad of me that I don't want to wear it, but I need it to be comfortable if I'm wearing it for fifty years. Ya know?
