Dawn's Digression.

This wedding planning stuff is making me plumb crazy. I have so much information in my head, I can't even keep it straight anymore. Seriously. It's madness. There is hardly room for me to have any other thoughts right now. It is amazing how consuming it is. I try not to talk about it too much, but I know I do. I actually dreamed about it last night. When I woke up this morning it was the first thing that popped in my mind. Well, besides wondering if I overslept again. I think I want a coordinator.
Nothing else is really going on. Ally is still occasionally using the back doormat as her restroom, but not quite as often. Silly cat.
I drove past BunBun's park yesterday and thought of him. I hope he is okay.
The weather for softball has been perfect. I thought Sunday would be miserable since it was supposed to get in the upper 80s, but there was a nice breeze, and I sit under a shade tree, so it was actually quite nice. I always get bored after the third game, but I try to remind myself I am getting paid to sit there.
We went to the Main Street Arts Festival in Fort Worth on Saturday with Michele's best friend, Patti, and her wife, Helen. We haven't done anything with them in about a year, so it was nice to catch up. Michele bought a crapload of food and drink tickets, and as a result, I had 5 beers. I was a little toasted. I kept telling Michele I didn't want another beer, but she kept giving them to me. I finally did ask her to sell the last bunch of tickets to someone else so I wouldn't have to drink a 6th beer. I don't think I would have been able to walk.
