My little pan dulce brought me some flowers. My favorite flowers. I can't believe she remembered what they are. I'm quite proud of her for it. I point at them a lot so that she gets the idea. ;) I'd love to tell you what they are, but I can't recall the name. Ah ha. Here they are.
After I got home from the gym last night, there was a card leaning against my flowers with my name on it. Muffin got me a graduation card. And, she put money in it. See, do you remember me saying my mom gave me a check for graduation? Well, I've been saying over and over I want a digital camera. So, Muffin gave me the rest of the money I need for the one I want. Of course, now I'm a little confused and unsure which one I want. I'm still shopping for the same priced camera...I'm not going to spend more because I have more. No, sir. And I'm also not getting a fancy camera. I don't need a fancy camera. I just need (okay, want) something so I can take pictures to show you. For example, if I had one now I would take a picture of the flowers Muffin gave me and the Frosty McJenny just brought me.
So now I'm all excited that I'm getting a digital camera. Which reminds me.....I need some help. Someone who is pretty bright about these things, please drop me a line because I have questions. I cannot afford and don't believe I need more than a 2 megapixel. But do I want the video thing? How important is the shutter speed? I'm a little anal about all this since I spent those two years working in a photo lab. So, quality is important, but so is the price. Follow? I was looking at an HP620, but it doesn't have the video feature where I can record 30 second movies..and it doesn't have the deal where you can plug it into the TV and bore your friends with vacation photos. What do you think? I'm really asking.
I'm afraid I've been a little too efficient at work lately. I don't have much to do. Don't tell my co-workers, though. (Di, you didn't just read that!) Most of the things I have to do are mindless. I guess I like mindless. I think my aptitude is as an Admin. Which I hate. Ugh. Well, what I hate is the payscale. The job is somewhat appealing to me. But I'd rather support one person or two people than an entire department. So I guess I want to be a Senior Executive Administrative Assistant.
