Have you ever been to Burger's Lake?
When I was around 6 years old, my mom and dad (either they were dating or had just gotten married) took me to Burger's Lake. I remember floating in a raft in the middle of the lake. I took my little donut floaty and instead of stepping in to it, I put it around my neck and jumped in to the lake. I remember standing in the lake, looking through the water above. I could see my little floaty floating on the surface of the water. I don't remember being afraid. I'm sure there wasn't enough time for that. My dad reached down and pulled me out of the water...it wasn't that deep. I'm pretty sure I threw a big ol' crying fit once I was 'saved' though.
I hate large bodies of water.
