Dawn's Digression.

Man, what a weekend. I didn't do anything productive. Unless washing the truck is productive. I guess it is for me. I'm not much on bathing vehicles.
LeChat is sick. Very sick. (Chat was Rachel and my cat. She got custody.) He's not eating, not drinking, and throwing up bile several times a day. He's lost 9 pounds. The vet can't find anything wrong with him. $250. Can't find anything wrong with him. AND... LeChat stayed with me and my two children for a week. Chat is being tested for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukemia, both of which are HIGHLY contagious and passed via saliva. I am supposed to be moving in with my girlfriend in THIRTY days....I have to give my notice TODAY, but I can't until I know Chat's outcome. Should Chat be positive, I have to get my cats checked, this process takes a couple of days. Should my animals test positive, I can't move in with her now or EVER because she has a cat, too. *sigh* If Chat is negative, then all that's void except for the fact that he is a very sick kitty. It's awful. It's 11:10am, and I haven't heard from Rachel yet. That dang vet needs to hurry it up.
I did go to the dentist. He says he won't refill one of my cavities until I get my wisdom teeth out. I have no time for that until May. Unless, of course.....LeChat. *sigh* BUT I did get my two front teeth fixed up so I'm not backcountry lookin' anymore.
