Dawn's Digression.

Less than 12 hours until IG!

Woo-hoo!
Of course my day is totally sucking. My ears are still foggy. Can't hear. I have to go to another building to scan stuff because blah blah blah, whine whine whine.... this job. :) All that.
But I'm trying to get in a better mood, it is my night, after all. I'm being accompanied by two of most favoritist people to see my most favoritist artist... yeee haw! And really I'm stressing because my poor gf is having problems with her car, which means I have to go pick her up in rush hour which completely eliminates the hour I had to get ready for the concert. This makes Dawn unhappy. But all will be well. One must remember you don't have to be cute to go to an IG concert. And really, I could, um, lie, and go home early or even for awhile during the day. What I will need is some time to regroup. Not a lot of time. Just some. 20 minutes would be nice. Let's see. If I get home at 5:15 (wishful thinking) take 30 mintues to get ready, it's 5:45. Um...not good. Okay, if I go get gf at 5:30, I can be home by 6. But what time can she be ready? Why is everyone I know in a bad mood today? Why? Full moon? Nope. Only 76%. Argh!
It's okay. I forsee some deep breaths. And once I get there all will be well. Right. Right. Whew!
I'm trying. Let's see. What makes me happy? IG. Woo hoo! *ahem* Pardon me.
Woo, doggie...a new scanner for me here at work is going to cost $600. Dang.
Really looking forward to leaving work so I can get back asap. The sooner I get out of here, the sooner I can come back. The thing that kinda sucks is that I have to put on pants to go over there. I'm wearing jeans today, but my boss doesn't allow jeans. So, I have to put on pants when I go over there. Yeah, you'd think I'd just have worn pants today, but the tides weren't right for pants, and I wanted to wear jeans. I had one of those mornings where you look in the closet for 20 minutes and still can't find anything to wear. I hate when that happens.
