Raisin' My Glass to the Weekend!

Only not really. I don't drink anymore.

I am so excited about the weekend. I don't have a lot of plans, and I like it that way. I have some things Sunday afternoon, but they don't require and thought or planning on my part, and I like that, too.

We have been watching Season 1 of Queer as Folk. Oh. My. God. Could those boys possibly fuck any more? I mean, really, come on. We really enjoy the show, but I'm afraid that we'll eventually get sick of all the sex. I am aware, though, that gay men are stereotypically like that. I'm just appalled at some of their actions. And as long as I'm talking about gay TV, The L Word continues to disappoint. It is so heavy. I like a nice balance of laughter with my drama, and it just doesn't make me laugh. And why does everyone have to cheat? Aren't there any gay people with ethics out there? Having said all of that, I now confess that Michele and I have every intention of catching up on Queer as Folk 100% by April 18th. I have no idea how we intend to do this, but it is the plan.

Right now we have Pieces of April and 21 Grams at home to watch. It seems like they were both up for Oscars for something, but I'm not all that excited about either. Maybe someday I can go to the theater and watch a movie.

I had donuts for breakfast. Like real donuts. Glazed ones. Yummy!

I am so not in to school right now, and I hate it. I have no desire to read either textbook or do any homework. I need to clean up my act. I think that having a break in the middle of the semester is a really bad thing for me. After being gone a week, I was having a hard time remembering everything we learned. I hate when that happens.
