The Dog Ate My Homework.
Okay, it wasn't my homework, but it was my Pre-Raphaelite book. I got home from work yesterday and saw a huge pile of something in the floor. When I turned on the light, I saw Darcee had chewed up my book. I don't mean she kind of chewed it up. She tore off the back and front covers and ripped out the pages. When Michele got home she wanted to know if I was sure it was the dog. Um, yeah. It was a hardback book. I seriously doubt the cats did that. It fun to torture Darcee all night. She didn't get a spanking or anything. All we had to do is look at her and say, "What did you do?" and she would run off to her basket or get in her carrier. She was bad and she knew it. We continued this pattern until about 9 o'clock. Michele kept offering to buy me a new book, but I think she and I are beyond the place where we replace things our animals tear up like that. I'll buy another one as soon as I find it. No big deal. I was a tad upset, though. You know how I love my Waterhouse. I am so dying to take an art class as one of my electives. I'm incredibly afraid of it, though. I'm not good at the whole "What do you think the artist was trying to portray?" thing. I look at it and either I like it or I don't.
We still have not hung pictures in the house. Sure would be nice if we could get around to that. I just don't know where I want to put anything. Of course, I want my stuff in the living room, but Michele loves her door pictures and has more of them, so those will go in the living room. If I had my way, they're be Pre-Raphealites and trees all over.
I went to the psychiatrist yesterday for a follow up. He doubled my dosage. It somewhat amused me. I was thinking he'd give a pill with a few more milligrams or something. Nope. He said. "Double up. I want you to take 2 a day instead of one." Woo! I'm really crazy! Maybe next month I can tell him I'm still not right and he'll double it again and then I can be a walking vegetable. A happy vegetable, but a vegetable nonetheless.
