Hello
I haven't felt like blogging. So I didn't. Life has gotten pretty unexciting. No drama at all. It's dull in a fun way. I go to work, I come home. I work pretty hard at the new job, so there is really no time to blog there. Then when I get home at 6:30, I really just want to relax. I reckon I've been pretty lazy, which I refuse to apologize for.
School is going okay. I really don't like the class, so it is comforting to know I won't need to dread it anymore. It'll be all done. I've got a low 90 in that class that I'm hoping to pull up to a 93 so I don't get an A- this time. That sucked.
Michele and I are attempting to get some work done on the house. We're in the middle of her bathroom and the kitchen at this moment. We ripped out the wallpaper in the kitchen, and I am working on putting in Venetian plaster. I needed a break, though, so here I am. Ugh. We still have to put in the wallpaper, the border, paint the trim, replace the ceiling fan, get new knobs, put in new switches and outlets, and pick out some window treatment. We did pick out paint for the trim and doors, but we're not yet sure how we're going to work our color in. I'll post a pic when we're done.
Mom was okay. I spent one day at the hospital, and then took a day off to sit at the house with her. She still isn't up to 100%, and will be out of work for another couple of weeks.
Riding the train to work is cool. Occasionally I am annoyed by screaming children or by the lack of seats, but it sure as hell beats driving in the traffic. Ugh.
I've had a really tough time adjusting to the new job, which is one of the reasons I haven't felt like chatting. I am just tapped out by the time I get home. My brain isn't used to being used so much.
I just got really hungry, so I'm going to eat. I'll try to blog again before August. ;)
