Poor Little Cardinal
Last night, Michele and I were checking out the new laptop and we heard this awful squawking. I thought the dogs had gotten ahold of a squeak toy and were chewing the hell out of it. Michele got up and saw that the cats had a cardinal! Poor little guy. After we locked all the animals up, Michele was able to catch the little fellow. She took him out in the front yard and set him in the grass. He just sat there and chirped for a couple of minutes. He had a feather in his beak, and she leaned down to get it, and he took off. He was flying extremely low, but at least he was flying. I hope the little guy is okay. It was terribly sad.
