Dawn's Digression.

I was sick, sick, sick Tuesday. I fell asleep at my desk numerous times. I could not stay awake to save my life. It was so pitiful. Then I slept from 5-7 and took intermittent naps throughout the night. I went to bed at 9:45. Then yesterday when I got home from work I slept until 7 again. And again, I went to sleep around 10. I thought I might have a touch of the flu since my lymph nodes were somewhat swollen. And then I read this on the internet:

...Although some people can quit Paxil and suffer no withdrawal repercussions, countless numbers of folks have quit or tapered and have suffered nausea, dizziness, electric shock sensations sometimes known as "the zaps," headache, flu-like symptoms, balance problems, anxiety, sleep problems, gastro-intestinal problems, sweats, vivid dreaming, sensitivity to light and/or sound, etc. The list goes on and on...

I also read that Paxil will make you feel like you have allergies when you quit taking it. Something about it has something in it that treats allergies, so your body gets used to that, and then when you don't have it anymore -- ta da! Allergies. That would explain my teary eyes all day Tuesday. I've had a few headaches, too. I'm trying not too complain to much to my Muffin, since as we recall, she is not fond of the medication. But yeah, as I mentioned before, I'm going off the Paxil. When I said it was a temporary solution I meant it. When I am weaned off of this, if I still have mental upsets, I will seek counseling. It kinda sounds fun anyway. I can't remember if I took the Paxil yesterday or not. Not good since I'm supposed to be doing every other day.

I have some pictures for you.

I'm not sure, but I think Tonya may be laughing at me. (She is in the gray suit.)

I've got moves you've never seen! Who am I giving the thumbs up to, and why? Those are my aunts Laura (left) and Diane (right).

New meaning to the phrase 'get down tonight'. This is Tonya.
