Dawn's Digression.

I fixed the little text over graphic problem. This is my favorite painting by John William Waterhouse, Ophelia. Now that I've figured out how to do that, I think I'll change it every little bit. I have this on my screen saver at home and it is waiting to be hung in the 'study'. I just refuse to hang anything until I get it painted, which won't be for several months. :( Just no point putting holes in the wall.
I got pulled over this morning on the way to work. Would you believe I started crying? Also, would you believe it worked, and I got off without even a warning??? Thank God. The last thing I need right now is a ticket. For 'blocking a lane'. And no, I'm not one of those assholes who blocks the lane at a busy intersection. There were THREE empty lanes in a somewhat residential area. I pulled out to make the same U-turn I make everyday, but got caught by on-coming traffic and had to sit in the middle longer than usual. Plus, I have no plate on the front of Barney. *sigh* OH! And then my address is different: Where I live. On my Driver's License. And on my insurance card. I was glad the cop was a boy and that my hair was down.
We went to a baby shower yesterday. A lesbian baby shower. Never been to one. Yeah, no different. Except that there were a couple of boys.
I keep trying to upgrade my Blogger service to get rid of that awful ad on my page. Please be patient, as that portion of their website is down, and I can't upgrade right now.
