Dawn's Digression.

Hey! I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. Mine was overall pretty good. Nothing exciting happened. Well, I got a haircut. That was pretty traumatic. I needed a haircut really badly, but was trying to conserve money due to the upcoming vacation. SO~ I went to TGF for a $16 haircut thinking I was going to save some money. OMG. It was really really really bad. No, I mean it was bad. It flipped all over. I don't like flippy hair on me. It's cute on actresses. It is not so cute on me. TC seemed pretty mortified herself and made no attempt to hide her distaste for it. Which, of course, hurt my feelings. Granted it was all true. The haircut was BAD. But, isn't she supposed to make me feel better? She didn't. I put on a hat and pouted for the rest of the day. Sunday I made an appointment for another haircut on Monday. This haircut was $20. My cheap haircut is no longer cheap. But it is ugly. U.G.L.Y., my hair ain't got no alibi. Anyway, the hair is a tad better now. I don't exactly feel like a sex kitten, but the ladies at work say it is cute, so I'm gonna go with that. Even though I think they are really just being nice. You gotta take the compliments where you can get them.
