Melody's Graduation
I am so proud of my friend Melody. I went to her graduation on Sunday, and it was a wonderful experience. Graduations are by nature extremely dull, but I wasn't all that bored, and I actually had a good time. I even had to fight back tears when she crossed the stage. So brave!
I went to be supportive of Melody, but I am 100% certain it was better for me that I was there than it was for her. It was very motivating for me to see her walk. Melody has worked very long and hard for this. It made me think maybe I could do it.
So, thank you, Melody for inviting me. It was a wonderful gift that I was able to take part in your day.
